“Literature is not dead!” – Transferre in Italian High Schools

I am just back from an exciting week-end in Salò (Brescia, Italy), where I talked about Transferre and, more generally, about translation (or, better, “transplantation”) of European poetry into regional languages, to the high-school students of the ITS “Cesare Battisti” and of the Liceo “Enrico Fermi”, my old Liceo.

I would like to thank Professoressa Anna de Santi and Professor Claudio Fantoni for the invite. It was a unique, fun, even emotional, experience, and the students were truly fantastic. I would also like to thank Professor Fabrizio Galvagni for his kind participation, and Professor Claudio Fantoni for chairing the event at the Liceo so wonderfully.

Here are some videos of these events.
